About

My work begins from a felt disconnection between body and self — a sense that the container I inhabit is unstable, porous and continually shifting. Through my practice, I rebuild this container in fragments, forming temporary outcomes from the residues and wastes of my environment and culture. Paper–plastic–mâché has become central to this process: a hybrid material made from studio waste, grocery packaging and everyday leftovers. As it soaks, dissolves, reforms and dries, it performs a slow choreography of decay and re-formation. Domestic kitchen tools — mixers, grinders, vessels — reactivate this process and turn the studio into a site where discarded matter follows its own unstable logic.

From this material engagement grew my interest in contamination as a generative condition. Contamination becomes a way to think through how bodies participate in cycles of breakdown and renewal. Rather than treating the body as separate from its surroundings, my practice approaches it as part of a larger metabolism — one in which organic and artificial elements mix, drift, decay and re-form. Across installations, workshops and performance-based activities, I create situations where these processes become perceptible as forms of attention, relation and shared sensorial experience.

Future Grandpa’s Secret Recipe holds this inquiry together — a framework for a practice built from fragments, vulnerabilities and material transformations.
