Digestive Press is a collaborative workshop developed for the Afrikaanderplein Market, Rotterdam. Working with discarded market packagings and vegetable offcuts, participants transformed waste into handmade collaged surfaces. The workshop shifted everyday materials out of economic cycles into a shared circular process of making. Waste became a material and a way of thinking through the market’s rhythms. The workshop reflects into digestion as a method: an approach where materials, encounters, and knowledge are continually broken down and re-formed by many.
