Packagings

2025

Floor installation with paper-plastic-mâché & grocery packages, Paper-plastic mâché on jute fabric (each 100 x 120 cm), cutout grocery packages, salt dough objects and found objects on found plastic foil and platform (300 x 360 cm)

Packagings is an installation composed of large paper–plastic–mâché sheets painted with hybrid silhouettes that merge human forms with grocery packaging shapes. Scattered across the surface are de-languaged plastic packages from which all text, branding, and information have been cut away. What remains are hollow containers—becoming a sugestive landscape of residual identities. Packagings examines how objects communicate once their linguistic world is removed, and how the body itself becomes a kind of packaging—shaped, filled, and stripped by contemporary systems.
